One of eight, Wordsworth Luxe

Part of a series of eight classic literature covers commissioned for Wordsworth Editions via Folio Art. Each cover follows the same structural skeleton — a shared typographic system and compositional grid — while the botanical choice becomes the primary variable. For this title, domestic garden flowers: peonies and daisies anchor the cover in a specific season and domestic sensibility, reflecting the interior world of Alcott's narrative. The full-wrap format extends across front and back covers, spine, and fore-edge, with an additional repeat pattern derived from the cover botany for the endpapers. Cloth binding with gold foil stamping; the vectorised line work was prepared to withstand the technical demands of foil adhesion.
